We are now looking for a highly experienced Java Developer (Fullstack) for a long-term and socially important development assignment within the public sector. The assignment is located in Jönköping and is carried out in a modern development environment with high demands on quality, structure, and collaboration.

You will work in a larger development and digitization initiative focusing on advanced system solutions, data management, and user-friendly interfaces. The assignment is conducted according to agile methodologies and in close collaboration with the business.

In the role of senior Java developer, you will work with both backend and frontend development in complex system environments. You will actively contribute throughout the development chain – from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and further development. The role places high demands on technical competence, independence, and the ability to take responsibility for the whole.

• Development and further development of Java-based systems (fullstack)

• Design and implementation according to established architectural principles

• Work with relational databases and integration solutions

• Participation in agile teams according to Scrum

• Collaboration with the business, testing, and other developers

• Contribute to technical choices, code quality, and long-term sustainability

• Very good experience with Java (backend) and JavaScript (frontend)

• Experience with Java EE / JEE

• Angular (version 2 or later)

• PostgreSQL

• WildFly

• JPA / Hibernate

• HTML and CSS

• Git

• Experience with domain-driven design (DDD)

• Good understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Experience with GIS-related systems

• PostGIS, OpenLayers

• AngularJS

• Python and Pandas

• Message queues, such as Artemis

• The assignment is primarily on-site in Jönköping

• Possibility for remote work up to about three days a week may occur after introduction, depending on the business's needs

• Scope: 40 hours/week

• Start: by agreement (as soon as possible)

• Assignment period: 20260126 - 20280123 with the possibility of extension

• Is senior and confident in your role as a system developer
